Terms of Use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States. Do not use this app in an emergency.

What Halo is

Halo is an AI voice assistant that shares general migraine information. It is not medical advice. Read the Medical Disclaimer; by using Halo you agree to it.

Free time and credits

Each device gets a small amount of free voice time. After that, voice calls use credits. One credit is one minute of voice time, and time is rounded up to the next whole minute. Credits are consumable in-app purchases sold through Apple and tracked on our server against your device identifier. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be lost if you delete your data or change devices, because there are no accounts. Calls have a maximum length. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits or billing, overload it, or use it to harm others. We may limit or block access to prevent abuse.

No warranty and limits of liability

Halo is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Answers may be wrong or unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of Halo or reliance on its answers. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms and the service. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
